While your day at the beach and on the water is all about having fun, we take your safety very seriously. Nothing for us has a higher priority.
We have a safety boat in attendance at all times when we are operating to look after everybody on the water and provide help when needed.
The safety boat is operated by qualified staff and is equipped with VHF radio and is always in contact with the beach office.
Life jackets or buoyancy aids are made available to all hirers at no extra charge.
Qualified First Aiders are always on site.
All equipment is local Authority licenced or MCA Approved
Restrictions apply when hiring certain craft they are as follows:
PEDALOES / WATERBIKES – Minimum age 8 (Without an adult). Must be able to reach pedals.
KAYAKS / KATAKANU - Minimum age 8 (Without an adult). Must be able to paddle competantly.
STAND UP P / BOARDS - Minimum age 8 (Without an adult). Must be able to paddle competantly.
SAILING DINGHIES - Hirers must have minimum RYA level 2 or equivalent experience. The main hirer must be over 16.
WINDSURFERS - Hirers must have minimum RYA level 2 or equivalent experience.
BANANA RIDES - See minimum height restriction on hut (1.3 metres). Must be able to swim.
SKI / WAKE / KNEE - Complete beginners welcome. Must be over the age of 10 and be able to swim competantly.
POWERBOAT RIDES - All ages welcome. We can tailor the ride to suit you.
